Today, one of my friend asked me for Windows 7 RC and while browsing through Microsoft website I came to know that Microsoft is shutting down the downloads for Windows 7 RC on August 20 , 2009.
Microsoft website says:
Downloads will be available until August 20, 2009. After that, you can still install the RC and you can get a product key if you need one.
Well, Windows 7 RC was offered for download by Microsoft on May 4, 2009. Microsoft made the decision that the download of Microsoft Windows 7 would be available till July, but when July arrived the date was extended till August 15, 2009. On August 15, 2009 I don’t know what, but something struck them again and Microsoft extended five more days for Windows 7 RC. Now the final date announced by Microsoft is August 20, 2009.
